PARK SQUARE ENTERPRISES bring new development to Kissimmee

Park Square Enterprises Inc. plans to break ground this month on model homes in a new 100-home residential community in Kissimmee called Sonoma Resort.
The Orlando-based homebuilder said one- and two-story homes will range from 1,800-4,000 square feet with four to seven bedrooms and will be priced from the mid-$300,000s. The project is slated to create hundreds of temporary construction jobs, while also bring new homes to a growing part of Osceola County.
This appears to be the first phase of Sonoma at Tapestry, a planned 325-resort home community that was in the planning stages last April.

An early 20th century caretaker's house from the Henry O. Partin ranch made the journey by truck to Shingle Creek Regional Park, where it will serve as a welcome center and office space for the Osceola County Historical Society's Pioneer Village.
The small wooden house — with 1950s era furnishings and even shoes still inside — had sat vacant long enough to become entombed in a tangle of trees and vines that grew up around it.
